TERESA DREESE

Paragon Graduate Teresa comes from a corporate background as a CAD drafter for a furniture manufacturing plant. Her love for animals brought her to Paragon in 1995 as a student and a few years later brought her back again as an instructor.

Teresa earned the Certified Master Groomer title with The International Professional Groomers Association which is a voluntary testing organization for professional groomers. Currently Teresa is also a certifier for the same organization. She also placed with high honors in the competitive grooming ring for eight years. Teresa competed heavily with a Clumber Spaniel, Soft Coated Wheaten and Miniature Poodle. She has won numerous awards including Best in Show and Best All Around Groomer. Her drive to learn more has taken Teresa many places for hands-on seminars including Germany. She completed training with Sarah Hawks and Margery Good at the Montgomery Terrier Specialty.

Teresa started as an Assistant Instructor at Paragon. Due to intense motivation and drive, she moved through the Paragon ranks to a highly qualified Trainer, Lead Trainer, General Manager and currently is the Assistant Director at Paragon and Assistant Manager for White Dog Enterprises. Most recently has been appointed as the Coordinator for GroomTeam USA 2007-8 and 2009-10. Her positive attitude and forward thinking are a fundamental of why the Paragon team works so well together.

She and her husband Mark live with a four legged family, consisting of a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and a Jack Russell Terrier and their newest additions, chickens. Teresa enjoys bowling, golf, traveling, spending time with her family and motorcycling with her husband when she is not at Paragon working.
