Meet Rising Star and Pet Groomer Grad Brianna Molder of Feeders Pet Supply in Louisville, Kentucky! Brianna took her coursework very seriously and that hard work has paid dividends. She has a great eye for grooming and we hope she’s as proud of her accomplishments as we are!
Brianna’s mentor Jen McCarthy had this to say: “She showed determination and dedication throughout the Pet Groomer program and took feedback very seriously. She ended with her Stylized Leg dogs looking fantastic with huge improvements in her clipper, scissor, and blend work. She is proof that hard work pays off!”
Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I choose dog grooming because I have always loved animals and wanted to be involved in the animal community in other ways besides the medical field. I enjoy getting to know each dog and its owner. I have always wanted to do all kinds of different haircuts and push myself toward a unique career.
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
I enjoyed getting to learn about the different types of coat types and bladed grooms.

What are your future goals?
To explore creative grooming techniques such as dye jobs on dogs.
Any advice for aspiring groomers?
Don’t be too hard on yourself! Not everything will go to plan with most grooms. You just need to take a deep breath and adapt to the new challenges you might face.
