This Georgia Rising Star's Speed and Accuracy Shows She's Ready For The Grooming World
Meet Rising Star and Pet Groomer Grad Baylee Anderson of Loving Touch Pet Salon in Warner Robins, Georgia! Baylee is certainly a quick study, and it’s been a joy watching her refine her skills from lesson to lesson. We’re not the least bit surprised she finished early, and we can’t wait to see what she does next!

She rocked out her course work and showcased a strong understanding of each practical submission skill. We are lucky to have a great groomer like Baylee in this industry!”
Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I worked at a dog kennel and the opportunity kind of fell into my lap to start grooming school. I never thought about it before, but thought I’d give it a shot. Once I started I fell in love with it.
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
I really enjoyed all the detailed feedback from my grooming assignments. Even if I thought I did everything perfectly, there were always things I could’ve done better. This has helped me grow as a groomer.
What are your future goals?
To continue learning and perfect the craft.
Any advice for aspiring groomers?
Don’t give up! It’s easier said than done but what helped for me was finding a salon that was willing to work with me!
