The Paragon Grooming Education and Training Program
Phone: 616-667-7297
This agreement governs the enrollment for the online Grooming Education and Training (G.E.T.) Programs (Levels 1, 2, and 3). The Student is fully aware that this document, and such attachments as may be listed below, constitutes the entire agreement with the program. Verbal agreements and/or other representations are not binding to the program. The G.E.T. program is divided into three levels. The Student can complete each level as quickly as they like, or take up to 4 months to complete each level. The Student is required to furnish their own grooming tools and textbooks, which are available on the general market or may be purchased while making product/program selections and payment at checkout on the Paragon website. Purchasing tools and textbooks from Paragon is optional but the Student must use the textbooks specified. The list of required tools can be downloaded at Toolkit List and required textbooks can be viewed at Paragon Textbook Bundle.
Upon successful completion of each level in this program, the student will receive a certificate of completion.
WITHDRAWAL AFTER COMMENCEMENT OF LEVELS – A Student may voluntarily withdraw from any level prior to commencement of that level. If a refund is requested for any reason, the refund policy below will be in effect.
- Refunds must be requested in writing.
- Refunds for levels purchased individually are only provided if a Student has not started the level for which they are requesting a refund.
- Refunds for levels, if approved, will be processed in full minus a 10% administration fee.
- If a Levels Bundle is purchased, and any single active level expired, all subsequent levels are then non-refundable.
- If a Levels Bundle is purchased, any qualifying refunds will be refunded at the discounted rate of the levels and minus a 10% administration fee.
- Refunds for levels, if approved, shall be processed within 30 calendar days from the termination of enrollment of the Student.
- Refunds for tools, books, or other equipment purchased from Paragon are not available. All sales for books and equipment are final.
PROGRAM EXTENSIONS:
Students are expected to complete each level (1, 2, and 3) within 4 months of the purchase date. After this 4-month period, the level will expire, and the Student will lose access to the level content. If the Student fails to complete the level on time and wishes to continue, they will need to pay for an extension. Access to the level will remain unavailable until the payment is completed and the extension is established. Extension fees are as follows:
If a Student’s progress in the program is greater than 50%, the Student must pay 50% the tuition cost for a single level. This extension will give the Student an additional 2 months to complete the current level.
If a Student’s progress is less than 50%, the Student must pay 100% the tuition cost for a single level. This extension will give the Student an additional 4 months to complete the current level.
The Program Handbook outlines complete rules of conduct and satisfactory progress. Students can begin online courses once they acknowledge and agree to the conduct policies therein.
NAILS AND EARS TECHNICIAN PROGRAM STUDENT ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT
The Student can complete the Nails and Ears Technician program as quickly as they like or take up to 30 days to complete the level. No refunds or program extensions will be offered due to the short nature of the program. Should a Student’s program expire, the Student is welcome to re-purchase the program and resume their education.
Termination:
After discovery, investigation, and determination of suspected falsification or submission of any graded, or to be graded materials has been performed, and the Student is found in violation of cheating or submitting other’s work instead of their own, the Student may face disciplinary action up to and including termination from the program. Cheating is an offense taken very seriously in the Paragon programs and will be dealt with as such.
IMPORTANT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: The Acknowledgement of Completion of Paragon’s Grooming Education and Training Programs is not a license or certificate granted on behalf of any State or Federal government and Paragon’s programs are not accredited by any branch of any State or Federal government, organization, or institution.
