Distance Learning Program Enrollment Requirements
- You must have approval from your Regional Services Manager to enroll into this program.
- Successful completion of the Level 2 Pet Groomer Program is recommended for admission to the Level 3 Pet Stylist Program.
- Book Requirements for This Program: You are required to purchase the AKC Complete Dog Book. Notes from the Grooming Table is only necessary if your store does not have an in-store copy.
All applicants are required to be at least sixteen years of age, have a genuine concern and affection for animals, be able to stand for a minimum of four hours at a time, and easily lift up to forty pounds. Credit is not granted for previous training.
