Rising Star and Groom Tech Grad: This Is What A Skilled and Motivated Groomer Can Accomplish Inside of a Month
Meet Rising Star and Groom Tech Grad Aidan Crawford of Chuck & Don’s in Chanhassen, Minnesota! Once Aidan sets her mind to something, there’s no stopping her. We witnessed this drive first-hand when she powered through the Groom Tech program in near-record time, turning in stunning work every time. We’re so excited to see where her grooming journey takes her!
Aidan’s mentor Jen McCarthy agrees, telling us “She has flown through the program as she just finished her natural foot trims today and started level 1 on 5/6! Aidan has also gotten great grades on everything including 100% on all four of her tests. Fantastic student!”
Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I have always had a love and passion for dogs and caring for them. Prior to Paragon, I was a daycare manager looking after tons of dogs and working with some of them one-on-one. I wanted to switch my pace and environment while still being able to have fun working with dogs. I knew grooming would give me the opportunity to move at my own pace yet still be in an animal environment and get to connect with dogs.
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
I enjoyed being able to learn and be hands-on at the same time. My favorite thing that I learned during this course was the natural foot trims.
What are your future goals?
My future goals are to be able to know the ins and outs of the grooming world to be successful in my career. I want to build my relationships with owners and their furry friends and have complete knowledge to educate them on whatever they need.
