Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I love dogs and always knew I wanted to have a career where I work with dogs. I’m glad to have found one where I can, in a way, help them and make them look good.
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
I enjoyed seeing how different some lengths look on different coats, finding tips and tricks to make my grooms look better and be done with more ease. Most of all, seeing growth in between grooms no matter how small it may be, and knowing I can try and get better.
Are you currently employed, or still looking?
I am currently employed at Pet Supplies Plus.
What are your future goals?
I hope to just get better and faster at grooming and maybe even start breed cuts. I want to become the best I can be and have an overall fulfilling career as a groomer.
