This Rising Star Studies Hard and Her Grooming Career Is Off To a Fantastic Start
Meet Rising Star and Groom Tech Grad Ashley Santos of Pet Supplies Plus Wicker Park in Chicago, Illinois! Ashley is one of the hardest workers we’ve seen come through the Level 1 Groom Tech program, and we’re confident she will find success in the grooming world.

Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I chose dog grooming because I love dogs have owned them all my life. It’s always great to see their transformations through a haircut or bath and seeing how happy it makes the owners.
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
What I’ve enjoyed most from the coursework was being hands-on with the pets and getting to apply everything I learned.

What are your future goals?
My future goals are to complete Paragon’s Level 2 and become a groomer.
Any advice for aspiring groomers?
Make sure to go through all course work and be asking questions all the time. Always be hands-on when you can, and listen when people teach you.
