Meet Rising Star and Groom Tech Grad Aurora Clark of PawHootz Pet Resort in Hurst, TX! Aurora finished the Groom Tech program early, and what makes that even more impressive is the high quality of their coursework. However, what impresses us the most about Aurora is their drive to make pets feel good and confident through grooming – an admirable trait!

Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I always feel happy and accomplished when I see how confident a dog feels after being groomed.
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
The practice and the ability to go back and review previous topics.

Any advice for aspiring groomers?
There may be days when you want to throw in the towel, frustrated or even grossed out, but in the end, seeing how much better the dogs feel afterward makes all of it worthwhile.
