Iowa Groomer Rises to the Challenge
Bailey Teno has a gift for grooming and is on a roll! Fresh out of Paragon’s Level 2 – Pet Groomer course, Bailey plans to further her stylist skills after an upcoming move. She also hopes to open a dog daycare in the future. Congratulations, Bailey!
“She was a wonderful student to mentor, and I am looking forward to seeing her flourish in the grooming industry. She is well organized and excelled in her coursework!” said Mentor Mikaela Campbell.
From Bailey:
Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I chose grooming because I love working with dogs and love helping them in any way I can! And with grooming I get the best of both worlds – I get to work with dogs and make money while doing it!
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
I enjoyed being able to take pictures of the dogs I groomed and getting feedback on things I could do better next time.
Are you currently employed, or still looking?
I have been working at a doggy daycare which also offers grooming for the past two years. I am getting ready to move, so I am currently looking for a new job.
What are your future goals?
My hope is to one day open my own dog daycare and grooming facility!
