Meet Rising Star and Pet Groomer Grad Brittany Sampson of Pet Supplies Plus in Mentor, Ohio! Brittany is a grooming rockstar in the making and never stopped refining her skills and learning new techniques. Her work is nothing short of excellent and we’re excited to see her living her dream!
Her mentor, Suesan Watson shares, “I think Brittany has been the most engaging student I have had. She would send photos of her work every day wanting to know what she could do to elevate her grooms, always striving to improve her work. As she completes Level 2, my hope for her would be to keep growing and learning more about how to fine-tune her skills. Congrats Brittany!”
Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
Learning the skills, fundamentals, and knowledge of a groomer is something I have always wanted to do. I felt now was a good time to commit to the time table and lessons.
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
Best part, besides playing with the dogs, were the email conversations between my mentor. She is so clever and full of knowledge, I was glad to ask technical questions and receive the guidance I needed.

I’ll have to start using my Facebook page more, but that medium is a good platform for photos and stories.
What are your future goals?
I would like to continue into the Level 3 Pet Stylist Program, but will spend time developing my current new skills before embarking.
Any advice for aspiring groomers?
Ask as many questions as you can! Everyone you meet will know something you don’t.
