Rising Star and Groom Tech Grad: Her Skills Improve With Every New Dog She Works On!
Meet Rising Star and Paragon Certified Professional Groom Tech Gracie Stover of Petsense in Pittsburg, Kansas! Gracie is an incredibly fast learner, and we’ve been continually impressed with her accomplishments! She’s also never shy about getting feedback and finding ways to improve, and we’re sure she’ll become an excellent groomer one day!
Her mentor Suesan Watson shares, “Gracie was a part-time student, although you wouldn’t know that by the way she stayed on track. She was quick to ask questions and apply any help given to her skills. You literally could see her skills improve with every new dog she worked on. She said she wanted to be the best groomer she could be, and she will meet those goals. Congratulations, Gracie!”
Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I chose dog grooming as a career after being in the rescue industry for 4 years. Dog after dog, needing help with matting, stick-tights, and being clean, I decided that’s what I would absolutely love to do!
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
I enjoyed working with each individual animal and learning hands-on!

What are your future goals?
My main future goal is to get my own farm! My goals through work are to build a great customer base and to have a relationship with each of my clients!
Any advice for aspiring groomers?
Go slow, do it right, and always put humanity over vanity.
