Meet Rising Star and Paragon Certified Groom Tech student Heather Felce! Based in Clarkston, Michigan, Heather is already showing strong dedication to the craft. With a lifelong love for dogs and a passion for helping them stay healthy and well cared for, Heather is building a solid foundation as she continues developing her grooming skills.

Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I’ve always loved dogs and grown up with them. I want to help take care of them and make sure they’re nice and healthy!
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
Getting help from my mentor and fellow groomers!

What are your future goals?
I wish to become a full-time dog groomer someday!
Any advice for aspiring groomers?
Be patient. It’s okay to take a moment to yourself if you’re getting frustrated or irritated. Deep breaths 🙂
