Meet Rising Star and Groom Tech Grad Heather McCoy of Pet Supplies Plus in Clarksburg, West Virginia! Heather took her grooming seriously and came into the program ready to learn. We were so impressed with her dedication to the craft and her drive to be the best she can be. We hope she sticks with grooming because we believe she’s a master in the making.

Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I’ve always wanted to work with animals. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree for another career dealing with the nutrition aspect, but I just wanted to keep going bigger and achieving more.
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
Learning the different techniques of grooming.
