Meet Rising Star and Paragon Certified Professional Groom Tech Jade Stewart of Pet Supplies Plus in Tuscaloosa, Alabama! Jade is a natural at the grooming table, and watching her develop her skills has been an absolute joy. We can’t wait to see what she does next!

Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I’ve always had a passion for hair styling and dogs, so why not put the two together? I love being able to help those in need and allow pets to feel and look their very best!
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
I enjoyed learning different techniques to help better myself in the way that I was doing things!

What are your future goals?
I aspire to be an excellent groomer! I want to learn all that there is and more! The many hairstyles, the creative side of grooming, and so much more! This is only the beginning, and I am so excited!
Any advice for aspiring groomers?
Do NOT ever give up! It will be hard, and there will be days you are frustrated. Remember to breathe and take your time. The fur babies will love you for the time and patience you put into them! Your job is to have them leave happy, healthy, and looking great! You’ve GOT this! Just keep pushing and keep working towards any goal you set!
