Meet Rising Star and Paragon Certified Professional Pet Groomer Kris Daughtrey of Lucky Dog Barks & Recreation in Swansea, Illinois! Kris has natural talent in spades, and we’ve been continually impressed with her work. She has excellent instincts as a groomer, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for her!

Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
Aside from my love of animals, my mother always told me, “Do what you love and not necessarily what brings you the most money.”
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
Acquiring new knowledge and techniques, along with receiving feedback from a mentor.

Any advice for aspiring groomers?
