Meet Rising Star Groom Tech graduate Skyla Beasley!
Meet Rising Star and Paragon Certified Groom Tech student Skyla Beasley! Based in Carlsbad, New Mexico, Skyla brings enthusiasm, curiosity, and a true love for animals into her grooming journey. Her dedication to learning structure, anatomy, and styling techniques has helped her build a strong foundation as she continues growing her skills.
Her mentor, Suesan Watson, shares:
“Skyla was an awesome student throughout level 1. She always put her best foot forward. I tell students in the beginning of the level that the more they stay in touch and read the help provided for them the quicker they will go through the level and the more they will learn. Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I love all animals and wanted a career working with them!
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
I loved watching the videos! Learning all the different parts of the dogs, and the haircuts that accent the dogs!

Any advice for aspiring groomers?
Don’t give up!!! You will have good and bad days! Learn from the bad days and love the good days!
