Meet Paragon Certified Professional Pet Groomer Taylor Goodwin-Mayer! Based in St. Louis, Missouri, Taylor brings a strong eye for detail, creativity, and a lifelong love for animals into her grooming journey. Her passion for continuous improvement and dedication to refining her craft have helped her build confidence as she advances in her professional career.

Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I have always loved animals. This is a great career to really focus on detail and creativity!
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
Getting to really see the difference and improvement of my work as I went through the program.

Any advice for aspiring groomers?
Communication is everything. It doesn’t matter how skilled or unskilled you may be. Anyone can learn to groom. Just make sure you are vocal about it, as you are never alone.
