Meet Rising Star and Paragon Certified Professional Groom Tech Valentina Gladysheva of Pet Supplies Plus in Berwyn, Illinois. Valentina completed Level 2 of Paragon’s Distance Learning Program with outstanding dedication, passion, and attention to detail. Her love for animals and commitment to mastering the grooming process have fueled impressive growth, and her journey is just getting started.

Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I have always loved animals and have always wanted to dedicate my life to working with them.
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
The moment everything clicked, understanding the full grooming process and then being able to do everything on my own.
Where can we see your work?
I don’t currently have my work posted anywhere, but I plan to create my own Instagram account in the future.
What are your future goals?
I want to continue improving my grooming skills and hopefully find opportunities to participate in grooming shows.
Any advice for aspiring groomers?
Don’t be too hard on yourself. There will be good and bad days, but learning from your mistakes is what makes you better. And of course…practice, practice, practice!
