Meet Paragon Certified Groom Tech Wes Hunnell: Growing a Passion for Helping Dogs
Meet Paragon Certified Groom Tech Wes Hunnell! Based with Chuck & Don’s in Longmont, Colorado, Wes discovered his passion for grooming after years of working with dogs in the daycare and boarding side of the pet care industry. Growing up around cats and dogs, working with animals was always familiar, but it was through his experiences caring for dogs that he truly fell in love with the industry.
Wanting to expand his knowledge and abilities, Wes decided to pursue grooming so he could help dogs feel better, look their best, and continue growing his skills. Throughout his Paragon Certified Groom Tech coursework, Wes has shown a strong commitment to learning, asking questions, and seeking feedback to improve. His dedication and enthusiasm have made him a standout student as he begins his grooming career.
His mentor, Suesan Watson, shares:
“Wes has done so well throughout Level 1. He stayed well connected, asked questions, and couldn’t wait for critiques on the work he submitted so he could see what he could work on to improve the skills he was developing. I know that as he continues on this journey to become a groomer, he will do all he can to learn the skills to do full haircuts. Congratulations, Wes!”
