One Of Our Brightest Rising Stars Proves Her Talents With Outstanding Coursework
Meet Rising Star and Pet Groomer Grad Amy Coreas of PetSuites in Missouri City, Texas! Amy is one of our star students, and we’re so proud of what she’s accomplished. She is eager to absorb as much as she can about grooming, which shows best in her photo submissions.
Her mentor Brittney Valle mentions this as well, telling us, “Amy was a star throughout, staying on top of her coursework, and turning in terrific photo submissions. When it came to the Stylized Legs portion of Level 2, Amy sent in fantastic work. She is going to have a bright future, and I am so pleased to just be a small part of her journey.”
Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I was a dog bather for 3 years and worked along side a groomer who inspired me. They told me that grooming was a career for me, and the thought of being a groomer excited me so I thought “why not go for it?!”
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
I learned a lot of new things that I did not know before this program. I got to understand new things about the grooming world!

What are your future goals?
My future goal is to be a professional dog groomer and connect with lots of pet parents. Inspiring others the way I was inspired to have an amazing career!
Any advice for aspiring groomers?
Don’t stress, overthink, or be hard on yourself because in the end you are doing better than you think, YOU GOT THIS!
