Meet Rising Star and Groom Tech Grad Diamond Burleson of Fondren 5 Star Pet Resort in Missouri City, Texas! Diamond isn’t afraid to dream big, and her skills on the grooming table make us believe nothing will stand in her way! Diamond also has excellent customer service skills and quickly adapts to new situations and techniques. It has been a joy having her in the program!

Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
This was a wonderful opportunity that was handed to me unexpectedly, but I fully jumped into it knowing that I would do well. I have a passion for dogs and also a passion for serving.
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
I enjoyed watching the videos getting tips for me to operate more effectively and efficiently as a groomer. I absolutely love to learn.
Where can we see your work?
At the moment I don’t have my work up on a platform but I definitely will in the future.
What are your future goals?
My future goal is to be one of most well-known groomers in my local area as well as globally.
Any advice for aspiring groomers?
Just never give up. You may need to take plenty breaks but just remember to never throw in the towel.
