Outstanding Pet Groomer on the Rise
Diane DeJonghe of Morristown, New Jersey, is pursuing a passion for animals! She excelled at Paragon’s Level 2 Pet Groomer program, and hopes to someday open her own pet grooming business.
“She pushed through Level 2 and has done amazing. Her lowest practical score was a 95, getting a 100 on her Stylized Legs. She did outstanding on that submission. We’re very proud of her!” said Mentor Shelly Fledderjohann.

Why did you choose dog grooming as a career?
I chose dog grooming as a career because I have always loved animals and have a passion for them. I love to take care of them and make them look their best.
What did you enjoy most during your coursework?
I enjoyed the assignments I needed to complete and reading new information during my coursework.
Are you currently employed, or still looking?
I am currently employed full time as a junior stylist at the Morris Animal Inn.
What are your future goals?
My future goals are to continue working in a grooming salon and become an experienced and professional pet groomer. I would also be interested in starting my own pet grooming business one day.
